Standardization in action: Corporate Digital Responsibility enters the next level

Last week, our colleague Maria Mair had the opportunity to attend the inaugural meeting of the newly formed DIN standards committee on Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) at the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. in Berlin – and got answers to these very questions.

🛠️ The committee brings together a diverse range of stakeholders to co-create what Corporate Digital Responsibility could look like in practice – from first drafts to an official standard. It’s a long-term process: developing a norm typically takes around two years and includes public consultations, reviews, and collaborative discussions.

🚀 Thanks to our CDR-STEPS project, we were able to contribute to this initial exchange. It’s exciting to see how CDR is now being translated into national standardization – and we look forward to following how the process continues to evolve.
